Front Desk Professional
What is a Front Desk Professional? These employees are at the forefront of the hotel operations and must have a friendly outgoing personality, as well as be familiar with local attractions. You will perform guest check-in and check-out, post payments and charges to guests rooms, make and confirm reservations, answer telephones and assist the Front Office Manager with any assigned tasks. Qualified candidates would need to have some clerical skills with basic computer knowledge, be pleasant, poised and able to deal with the general public as well as be able to work as a team.

Room Attendant
What is a Room Attendant? As a Room Attendant you have the great responsibility of ensuring the guests stay is perfect from beginning to end. The first impression of their guest lodge is critical to an amazing stay. Each one of our lodges is different and can accomodate from 2 to 8 people. Unlike a traditional hotel, you will be attending to an entire lodge versus a single guest room. Employees will check rooms for articles left behind, vertify lighting and heating are set correctly, clean all aspects of the lodge, replenish supplies as well as strip and make beds. Qualified candidates need to be able to bend, reach and stand for periods of time. No prior experience is necessary, as we can train you in the proper techniques and procedures. Must have a friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to work as a team.

Kitchen Operations
The Lodges plays host to numerous events and weddings each year in addition to a full-service Tavern & Grill on property with takeout and delivery. The Kitchen Team is critical to ensure each guest experience is superior. Whether you want to be a Chef, Line Cook or be part of the support staff your role is essentiall! All positions require a friendly personality with the ability to work in a team environment.
Kitchen Support Staff - Employees will aide in preparation of food, light cooking, dishwashing and cleaning.
Line Cook - Employees will set up work stations with all needed ingredients and equipment, cook food in various ways (grill, oven, steam), present food flawlessly with appropriate garnishes and cook food to proper temps. Additionally, employees will be keep a santized and orderly workstation/kitchen under the supervison of the Executive Chef.

The Banquet Department
The Lodges plays host to numerous events and weddings each year. The Banquet deparment is critical to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether you want to be a busperson, server or bartender, your role is critical! All positions require a friendly personality with the ability to work in a team environment.
Banquet Buspersons will be responsible for assisting the Banquet Servers by removing dishes, soiled linens, resets, stocking, cleaing and other assigned tasks by the Banquet Manager.
Banquet Bartenders will be responsible for providing prompt and professional service to our bar customers. Employees will set up, stock and maintain a clean and orderly bar. Employees will mix and serve alcoholic beverages and assist the Food and Beverage Manager with beverage inventory. All Bartenders will be trained in proper techniques for alohol service and be RAMP trained (company paid).
Banquet Servers will responsbile for providing prompt and profesional service to our catering customers. Prepare tables/stations for serving meals, serve alcoholic beverages as needed, check with our clients regardsing food quality and any additional needs. Pre-clean and bus dishes, clean and reset for next function. All Servers will be trained in proper techniques for alohol service and be RAMP trained (company paid).

Groundskeeper (Seasonal)
The Lodges at Gettysburg is situated on 63 beautiful acres with 35 of them in woods and hiking trails. Our groundskeeper has a big undertaking in maintaining the appearance of the property grounds. The groundskeeper will mow, maintain mulching in beds of perennials, trim back small trees, shrubs and bushes. Our groundskeeper should be versed in these areas to keep them well-maintained and attractive. The position requires you to be outdoors most of the time. Prior experience with riding mowers and associated power equipment necessary. This position opens on March 15, 2022.

Breakfast Server
As a Breakfast Server at The Lodges you will be responsible for serving our patrons during breakfast service. We offer a Continental Breakfast as well as a hot plated menu. This position performs tasks inolved in the preparation, set up, maintenance and stocking of the Continental breakfast. This position will take orders of our patrons and utilize a point of sale terminal to process the orders as well as process payments from them. Breakfast hours are 7:30am - 10:30am Wednesday - Sunday starting in March. This position is part-time. Other opportunities in serving available in other departments for candidates that may want additional hours to get to full-time employment.
